Community Goals, Not Candidate Promises

Here's what we can build together
– if we listen to each other.

Safe Streets for Every Family

I've heard the fear: parents who won't let their kids bike to school. Retirees who dread the sound of gunfire.

Our plan

Community policing with Brevard County Sheriff—on bikes, on the ground, and in the community. Not just watching over it. Being part of it.

Protecting the Lagoon, Protecting Our Value

The Indian River Lagoon isn't just nature – it's our economy, our tourism, our home.

Our plan

Independent water testing – monthly
Public results – every time
No hiding. No excuses.

Smart Growth That Fits Us, Not Developers

We don't hate growth. We hate growth that ignores us.

Our plan

Developments over 50 homes = community impact meetings. Held in the neighborhood. In the evening. With free childcare. So working parents have a voice.

Affordable Workforce Housing

A Growing Housing Gap: The county is facing a significant shortage of affordable housing. Currently, there is a shortage of over 12,000 rental units for households earning less than $35,000 a year. This gap is projected to grow to nearly 13,000 units by 2030 .

Rising Homelessness: The affordable housing shortage is a primary driver of local homelessness. The annual Point-in-Time count identified 1,039 people experiencing homelessness in Brevard County in 2026. While this number dipped slightly from the previous year, homelessness has still risen roughly 26% over the past decade.

A Homegrown Problem: An overwhelming 88% of people who become homeless in Brevard County lost their housing while already living here, indicating that the crisis is driven by local economic pressures, not an influx of people from other states

Our plan

Our Plan to Bring More Affordable Housing to District 1

The affordable housing crisis is hitting our community hard, and we need bold action. That's why our plan focuses on cutting red tape and accelerating development for projects that actually serve working families.

We will:

✔ Streamline Land Development and Zoning – Remove outdated regulations that slow down or block affordable housing projects.

✔ Fast-Track Site Plans and Building Applications – Prioritize review and approval for projects that include affordable units or tiny home developments.

✔ Promote Tiny Home Development – Currently, Brevard County has only one tiny home development. That's unacceptable. We will eliminate the bureaucratic barriers that have stifled this innovative, cost-effective housing solution.

It's time to stop making affordable housing harder to build. We'll cut the red tape and get shovels in the ground. The Goal: Increase the supply of affordable housing in District 1 within two years and create a model for the rest of Brevard County to follow.
